Wedding Photography
When will our photos be ready?
If your package involves an online gallery they will available within 14
days. If not we will post a disc to you within 14 days.
Do we get to choose which photographs go into our album?
Yes, you will have access to all the photos taken on the day. You can either
choose via a private online gallery (if your package includes this) or
you will be able to choose from the images we post to you on CD disc.
Who will be photographing our wedding?
What photographers attend your wedding will depend on your location, what
package you have purchased and whether we have other wedding shoots on
the same day. I (Mark Green) am the principal photographer, but in some
cases a wedding package involves two photographers, or I may be unable
to attend in which case one of my colleagues will shoot your wedding
for you. This will always be discussed with you beforehand however, to
ensure you are completely happy, and you will always have a chance to
speak with the photographer attending your wedding and discuss the day
with them.
How long will the photographer be present at the wedding?
Again, this depends on the package you choose. Different packages cover
different amounts of time - some offering complete coverage from the
preparations in the morning to the last dance at the end of that day.
With each package, whatever the length, we aim to be as inobstrusive
as possible in order to record your day without you having to think about
the photography on top of everything else.
Can we have photographs in a digital format?
The CD disc of images that will be sent to you after the wedding provides
you with a small size of every image that can be viewed comfortably on
a computer, and then you get your wedding album with larger prints of
the photos you choose from those. Additionally, if you require full copyright
ownership of the original size digital images, you can purchase this
for £250.
Do you have professional insurance?
Yes, we have full indemnity insurance.
Are you a member of a professional photographic body?
Yes, I am MPA qualified. MPA status is conditional on work and references
submitted, and you can find information on the benefits of using an MPA
photographer here: http://www.thempa.com/benefits.php
Will we meet before the wedding to discuss our requirements?
We tend to discuss things over the phone with the client, making it easy
for all parties especially if a location is some distance from our photography
studios. The wedding day schedule will be be discussed, and we will give
you an idea of what to expect from your photographer. If you have any
special requirements in terms of meeting before the wedding, this can
be discussed when you first book your package.
Portrait Photography
What should I wear?
Plain clothing works best in front of the camera - it's a good idea to
avoid patterns and stripes. This is particularly heplful if there will
be more than one person in the portrait, as you don't want your patterns
to clash.
What if I'm not sure what to do?
We do our best to make you comfortable at our portrait shoots, and we have
plenty of experience to draw upon so if you're not sure how you want
your portrait to come across we can offer advice and guide you during
the shoot.
